Fossil socks
The Fossil socks are a textured pair of socks where the woolly goodness of Snowdonia Sock gets to shine. They are worked from the cuff down and start with a wide 2x1 rib. The overall pattern is created by combining lifted stitches, knits and purls on a rib background, using two contrasting colours, which makes the sock slightly elastic for a good, snug fit. The peasant heel is worked last and can be ripped out and reknit if worn through.
