Fouilloy Mittens
A thirteenth-century bestiary volume provided the inspiration for this elaborate-looking accessory set. Much is unknown about the manuscript, including its talented scribe, but it is of Franco-Flemish origin and the author is Hugo of Fouilloy.
Note: This pattern can be purchased as part of an eBook of just the Fouilloy mittens, earband, and cowl together; or as part of a larger collection of accessories built around a theme of medieval illumination. If you purchase just the Fouilloy set, you will automatically receive a discount off the cost of the collection.
