Fountainwood Cowl
The Fountainwood Cowl combines two types of slip stitch patterns to create lovely color effects when using hand dyed yarns. The cowl is easy to knit and makes the most out of that special single skein of fingering or DK weight yarn.
Fingering Version with DK Version in parentheses.

Pattern stitch is both written row by row and charted.
Pattern was originally exclusive to The Knitting Cup during the 2023 Best Little Yarn Crawl in Texas.
The cowl is knitted top down and seamed at the back neck. Instructions are written using M1R and M1L. If you prefer, you may replace these increases with a backward loop cast on stitch. A circular needle is suggested to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
