When I began dating the professor, he had told me that the other ladies he’d been out with only lasted about “three or four dates”. The Scarf: “Four Dates” is created in the traditional seaman’s style, with ribbing in the center portion to create a thicker fabric around the neck. The entire design is completely reversible and perfect for a guy (or gal) who is not going to pay attention to his/her scarf laying the right way! Gauge isn’t really critical here, but is ABOUT 4-5 stitches per inch over seed stitch.
