When I began dating the professor, he had told me that the other ladies he’d been out with only lasted about “three or four dates”. So, when it came to be our fifth date, I knew that it meant something! This scarf is my tribute to the good professor, George. Made from luxuriously soft cashmere, it’s warm, cozy, and handsome; just like he is.

The Scarf: “Four Dates” is created in the traditional seaman’s style, with ribbing in the center portion to create a thicker fabric around the neck. The entire design is completely reversible and perfect for a guy (or gal) who is not going to pay attention to his/her scarf laying the right way! Gauge isn’t really critical here, but is ABOUT 4-5 stitches per inch over seed stitch.
