“Four Heart Knot” is an overlay mosaic crochet pattern, made “in the round” which means from the center , with no need to cut the yarn after each row.

This method is perfect to start working with the mosaic crochet technique as it does not leave you with multiple yarn ends as mosaic in rows does.

As it include the full chart, the written row by row instructions and the video tutorial, it’s the perfect project to give a try this technique ! This pattern doesn’t need specific gauge. Dimensions will vary depending on the yarn and hook size used.

But to give you some indication, using an arran coton and a 4mm hook, the square measured 36 x 36 cm. A 8/4 coton and 3mm hook, the square measured 27 x 27 cm.

You will need around 100m of each color for one square.

The possibilities with this square are endless:
With a second square you could make a pillow.
Or what to think of a handbag or even a blanket !
