Avatar the Last Airbender Colorwork Charts

Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy working up these charts in whatever craft suits your fancy. These charts were inspired by Avatar the Last Airbender and it’s sequel, Legend of Korra. For the charts that were not inspired by imagery from these amazing and inclusive animated shows, I drew from traditional Japanese Sashiko embroidery patterns and other East Asian design elements. As an AAPI fiber artist and lifelong sci-fi/fantasy nerd, this project brought me so much joy and I can’t wait to see what you create! Feel free to tag me on instagram @valkyrie_fibers

Yarn used was Valkyrie Fibers Matte Sock in the Four Nations collection and knit on size 3 knitting needles. Doing a gauge swatch in colorwork to ensure your project is to your liking is highly recommended.

Included in the pattern is guidelines to make items like my sample headband and cowl.
