Four Seasons Jacket
This is a fun versatile baby top that can be made as a Suit Jacket or a Sweater for any gender. Using different button options you can achieve a variety of looks from a suit jacket to a pea coat. Try omitting the collar for a more traditional sweater, or leaving the sleeves short for all year round wear.
This pattern uses American terminology. Stitches used include: hdc (half double crochet), sc (single crochet), sl st (slip stitch), and ch (chain).
Newborn: 6 rows = 2 inches, 8 hdc = 2 inches (H hook)
0-3 months: 6 rows = 2.25 inches, 7 hdc = 2 inches (I Hook)
3-6 months: 6 rows = 2.25 inches, 8 hdc = 2.25 inches (J Hook)
6-9 months: 4 rows = 2 inches, 6 hdc = 2 inches (K Hook)
