Four Seasons Sweater
This is a reversible sweater made with the panel setting on a 46 or 48 pin machine. This single layered sweater is perfect for those days when the seasons are changing. A sweater to wear over layers to keep warm in autumn/winter or over a vest top on those spring/summer evenings.
This pattern is only for sizes Small to Large (UK 8-18).
You can complete any colour combination you like, whether you choose all one colour or the visual delight in my example.
There is the option of adding crochet cuffs, neck and hem within the pattern but this is not essential.
If you have not worked with panels before, don’t be afraid! With a little practice, panel knitting is not as hard as you first think. I am happy to advise anyone who is having any trouble with my designs. Please reach out for support.
You will be joining your work with mattress stitch. This is the exact same stitch as you join your tubes, taking the posts from the centre of your ‘v’s.
You can use any yarn for this project. I have used (for size medium): -

468 Teal approx. 50g
732 Magenta approx. 50g
