Fox Cub
Here is a tiny cub for you to make, it is so small that it can be nestled into the palm of your hand without anyone noticing. Keep it with you all day, safe in your hand or in a snug pocket.
Throughout this pattern you are working with 2 strands of yarn held together, the mohair yarn is what gives the cub its fuzzy halo and three colours are used to create a realistic fur. This fox cub has the characteristic oversized baby ears and is posed mid-snooze.
The Fox Cub pattern includes detailed instructions for making a small crocheted granny square that you can use a blanket for the cub. The perfect way to test the water if you haven’t tried crocheting before.
The larger fox in the final photo is from my Fox in a Box which is available on Ravelry too.
Yarns used:
oddments of 4 ply / fingering weight yarn in orange, brown, and cream (Waikiwi solids)
oddments of white, grey, and gold laceweight mohair (kidsilk haze)
Happy knitting.
