This is my first top-down, round-yoke sweater for children!
Apart from being fun and fast to work I find that it is just perfect for children to grow into; whenever needed you can return to add length to sleeves and body.

Construction
The pullover is completely seamless. It is worked top-down and in-the-round, from collar to hem/cuffs.

Sizes
1 – 2 years / 2 – 4 years / 4 – 6 years / 6 – 8 years / 8 – 10 years Finished chest measurement of the sweater: 51/55/61/66/71 cm = 20/22/24/26/28”.

Materials
Yarn: I used Lama-Tweed from Camarose. This yarn comes in balls of 50 gr/1.76 oz, and 100 m/109 yards. It is an Aran weight yarn to be worked at 17-18 sts, but I found it more suitable to work it at 20 sts. You can use any yarn that knits up to gauge. You will need 3/3/4/5/6 balls of MC (turquoise), 1 ball of each of the contrasting colours, CC1: olive, CC2: mint. Needles: Circular needles, 40 cm/16” and 60 cm/24” long, size 3.5 mm/US4 for the ribbing. Circular needles, 40 cm/16” and 60 cm/24” long, 4.5mm/US7 for the main body. Dpns 4.5mm/US7 (or circular needle if working the magic loop) for the sleeves.
Dpns 3.5 mm/US4 (or circular needle if working the magic loop) for the cuffs.

Gauge
20 sts and 25 rounds in stranded pattern/stockinette using 1 strand only, after blocking = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4”

The stranded pattern of the yoke is charted for all sizes.
All measurements are given in cm’s as well as in inches.
All necessary stitch-counts are given.
