Knit in the round using your favorite method - dpns, two circus, or Magic Loop. Create the snout, eyes, and ears separately and sew them on.

Use any worsted weight yarn you want - I use either Cascade 220 Superwash or Plymouth Encore Worsted (or a combination of the two). Play with the colors to add some charm.

These take under eight hours to make, so you could knit one up in a weekend.
