A simple chevron pattern creates this adorable fox to keep your ears nice and toasty when the weather turns colder.

Any medium weight yarn will work for this project. Just select a hook which gives a fabric your are happy with. The thicker the yarn, the wider the headband will be. I used handspun alpaca, which ranged between DK weight and light worsted. An H hook created a slightly loose gauge which allowed the alpaca to bloom.

The band is worked flat in one piece, and the ends are seamed together. The ears are crocheted onto the piece, and the eyes and nose are embroidered.
