Inspired by Spry Fox’s game Cozy Grove, this pattern will create the adorable fox merchant! This was my first attempt at using color switching techniques. I learned a lot from making him! I hope you enjoy the pattern. Good luck and enjoy!

Materials
• Orange yarn med. weight (fox)
• Cream yarn med. weight (fox)
• Brown yarn med. weight (fox)
• White yarn med. weight (mouse)
• Tan yarn med. weight (mouse)
• Black embroidery thread
• Blue embroidery thread
• 3MM Hook
• Sewing Pins
• Stitch Markers
• Yarn Needle
• Poly-fil
• Grey felt or fabric
• Pipe Cleaner (optional)
• Cardboard (optional)
• Weighted material like a bean bag(optional)-
This figure will not stand on its own unless you add a weighted material in the bottom.
The tail is heavy and will cause your figure to tip backwards. I did not weight the figure. In
the pictures, the figure is propped up against the background.
