Size
For approximate age: 6-12m (1-2y, 2-3y)
Circumference of the glove around the palm: 14 (16, 17) cm
The sizes of Rabbit and the Bear Mittens in the image are 6-12m and 2-3y, respectively.
The sizes of Fox and the Frog Mittens in the image are 1-2y and 6-12m, respectively.
Note: The thumb gusset pattern has been made wider than the actual sample knitted.

Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift (4ply weight; 100% pure Shetland wool; 105m 114yds per 25g ball)
Jamieson’s of Shetland Ultra Cobweb (lace weight; 100% pure Shetland wool; 380m 347yds per 25g ball) Note: Black Ultra Cobweb is used for embroidering the eyes so you would only need a very small amount. If you have a black embroidery thread or lace weight yarn, you can use it instead.

Pattern Notes
The mitten is double-layered. The mitten is worked upward using provisional cast on. Before interior part is worked, ears are knitted and attached and eyes and nose embroidered. Then provisional cast on is unravelled to work the interior part. The interior mitten is then tucked inside of the exterior mitten.
