This scarf was based on a scarf I saw on Anthropologie’s website that was around $200. Not having $200, and being a knitter, I naturally thought, “I can knit that!”

After completing the scarf and getting many requests for patterns and already made scarves alike, I wrote down the pattern and adjusted it in a few ways. The body was longer, the head was made shorter and stouter, and the edges were done in garter stitch to prevent rolling. When finished in bulky yarn, the pattern resembles the red fox. When finished in super bulky yarn, the pattern resembles the gray fox.
