“Fox Tail Rug” is an oval-shaped carpet/rug which can be turned into a doily by taking smaller hooks and thread/light fingering yarn weights.

The pattern is written in English in US standard terms. You will find written instructions for each round + links to helpful VIDEOS (the voice is speaking in Russian, but the instructions are clear without any sound at all and completed with using thick cord and large hook, so it will be easy to watch).
This pattern is not sensitive to gauge.
Yarn: 1860 yds (1700 m) 3 mm polyester cord (with a core).
or
Yarn: 2843 yds (2600 m) 5 mm polyester cord (with a core).

Hook: 8.00 mm US 11 hook, you can also use 9.00 mm US 13 or 10.00 mm US 15 for this cord.
Finished measurement – 165x120 cm 65x47” if you use 3mm cord, and 240x270 94.5x106” cm if you 5 mm cord.
