Hello! Thank you for coming to have a look at my newest pattern and collaboration with Campfiber Yarns

This super beginner friendly, slouchy beauty is a mosaic colourwork pattern. Mosaic knitting is absolutely the most easy way to use two different colours in your knitting:

1. You only ever hold one colour at a time

2. You are only knitting and slipping stitches

3. Every round is worked twice. So on the second round you have your stitches right in front of you. No need to look at the pattern.

We are using fingering weight held double (a dk weight yarn would work just as well) We CO at the brim, and work up through the mosaic pattern, to the crown. The mosaic motif is included as both a chart and a written set of directions so you can choose your preferred type of instruction.

The pattern is offered in 4 sizes (baby/toddler - xl adult), and has a few different colour combo options: two colour, using a different colour for each mosaic repeat, or marling and fading your yarn in the mosaic repeat.

This is one of those fast, engaging but easy, ‘bag of chips’ type patterns that you will want to knit again and again!

Pattern Details:
Skills Required
German Twisted cast-on, knit, purl, decreasing, slipping stitches, working in the round using circular needles, dpns and/or magic loop.

Materials
Suggested Yarn
1 x 100g, 365m/400yd skein Campfiber Yarns, Vibrant 80/20 Fingering weight

2 (2, 2, 3) x 20g, 73m/80yd skeins Campfiber Yarns, Vibrant 80/20 Fingering weight

Yardage: There is more than enough yardage for all sizes if you have a 100g/400yd skein of your MC. Two minis is sufficient for CC yardage for sizes 1-3. Size 4 will require a 3rd mini.

Suggested Needles: 3.75mm/US 5 circular needles 40cm/16” length for CO and ribbing

AND 4mm/US 6 circular needles 40cm/16” length for mosaic

AND 80cm/32” length OR 4mm/US 6 double points for crown decreases.

Darning needle, stitch marker, pompom if desired.

Gauge - 23 sts and 45 rounds/10cm or 4” in the round, in mosaic colour-work.

Sizes & Measurements
Size 1: 40cm/15.5” circumference at brim, 18cm/7” length from crown to brim. To fit 40cm/16”-46cm/18” head circumference (toddler-small child)
Size 2: 48cm/18.75” circumference at brim, 18cm/7” length from crown to brim. To fit 45cm/17.5”-51cm/20” head circumference (child - preteen)
Size 3: 48cm/18.75” circumference at brim, 25cm/10” length from crown to brim. To fit 48cm/19”-56cm/22” head circumference (Teen/adult S/M)
Size 4: 56cm/22” circumference at brim, 25cm/10” length from crown to brim. To fit 56cm/22”-61cm/24” head circumference (Large-XL Adult)
