Fox's Way Shawl
Fox’s Way Shawl
This pattern is written in UK and US terms, and it contains over 50 step by step photos.
The Fox’s Way Shawl’s colourful squares and stripes will help brighten your day. You can go with vivid colours which will make you stand out or opt for a calmer pallet, to match your style.
Skill level: Advanced Beginner / Intermediate
Materials:
- I used five different colours of double knit yarn, however this project could work with as little as two colours, and be worked in different weights of yarn.
- Crochet hook corresponding to the yarn of your choice. I used two different hook sizes, 4mm hook for the granny square part and a 4,5mm hook for the moss stitch part.
- yarn needle
- scissors
This is a versatile 3 in 1 pattern - option 1: make the original shawl or option 2: make the moss stitch half and option 3: make the granny square half and turn these into a shawl.
This shawl is worked in two parts, the granny square half and moss stitch (also known as linen stitch) half, sewn together and finished off with a border and pompoms.
Gauge isn’t important, as it will depend on the type of yarn you use and the size you intend to make.
The shawl is 65 cm wide and 132cm long, and the finished project weighs 275g.
I used five different colours of double knit yarn, however this project could work in as little as two colours, or as many as you have in your stash and be a great stash buster.
