The pattern includes instructions for both Foxy and Mangle. Since the hats are similar part of the Mangle instructions has you use the Foxy instructions but with a different color.

This pattern will let you make a toddler, child, and teen/adult sized hats in both foxy and mangle.

I have not measured the yardage used for each hat. but for an adult hat the main color you will use at most a half a skein based on the yarn brand listed for that color. For the accessories on the hats: ears, eyes, nose, snout ect. you only need a small amount of yarn.
