This squishy wrap alternates bands of garter, simple eyelet lace, and two-color brioche to encapsulate everything I love in a knit accessory. Choose four colors in a gorgeous light-to-dark fade or dynamic gradient and melt from the first to the last, then back to the start, for an engaging yet meditative knit. OR, choose 7 partial skeins from your stash for a fun multicolor version.

This pattern is one size as written. If desired, you can easily make it longer by extending or repeating any of the garter, eyelet, or brioche sections. This will of course affect your yardage used.

I knit two samples, one in my Triple Twist base (the vibrant orange-pink, dark pink, purple, and blue) and one in my Hardy Sock base (the pale speckle to dark variegated purple). Colorways and yardage for the samples are as follows:

Sample 1 (vibrant)
Base: Comma Chameleon Yarn Co. Triple Twist Fingering (490 yards/100g; 100% superwash merino)
Colorways: Orange You Glad (C1), Framboise (C2), These Violet Delights (C3), Diving Deep (C4)
C1: 71g/348 yards
C2: 56g/275 yards
C3: 57g/280 yards
C4: 39g/192 yards

Sample 2 (speckles)
Base: Comma Chameleon Yarn Co. Hardy Sock (463 yards/100g; 75% superwash merino, 25% nylon)
Colorways: Printemps (C1), Nymphéas (C2), You’re Turning Violet, Violet (C3), In the Gloaming (C4)
C1: 76g/352 yards
C2: 62g/288 yards
C3: 61g/283 yards
C4: 43g/200 yards

Needle size: US 5 (3.75mm) circular needles, or size needed to
obtain gauge (or to achieve a fabric/drape that you like)—32-inch or long enough to comfortably hold the full width of stitches.
