This is a light lace and mesh shawl ideal for late spring/early summer. It is suggested in Scheepjes Whirl, 1 skein with a 4.00mm hook. It will not take the whole skein, usually one color is left. If you want to incorporate more of the end color try going to hook size 4.5mm. Gauge is not vital in this pattern. If you tend to crochet loosely it may take a bit more than one skein. In that case move down a hook size or two to keep it within a single skein. Approximatly 950 to 1200 meters needed in fingering weight yarn.
