Fragment
ABOUT THE PATTERN
Fragment is a lightweight, slightly cropped t-shirt with short sleeves and a split hem. It features a simple texture throughout the garment, using garter stitch and crossed slip stitches.
This t-shirt is knitted flat and then seamed to give the linen yarn some structure. However, the stockinette body trims are knitted individually in the round and then joined flat for neat edges on the split hem.
It is knitted in Quince & Co’s glorious Sparrow yarn, which is the nicest pure linen yarn I have ever worked with. It creates soft, drapey fabric that only improves with wear and washing. If you wish to use an alternative yarn, make sure you choose something with plenty of drape that meets the gauge requirements specified.
