The Framboisine pullover is knitted seamlessly top-down starting at the neckband. A beautiful lace pattern is worked to fit the circular yoke. You can choose to continue this lace throughout the body work and sleeves or opt for a more classic version by continuing the rest of the project in Stockinette stitch.

The sleeves and body are separated at the underarm and knitted separately in Stockinette stitch or continuing the lace pattern.

Pleasant to work, rhythmic by the lace stitch, it is a project that will easily adapt to your desires, with or without sleeves, it will be perfect for mid-season and summer.
The lace pattern is modified from a lace chart found in the Japanese knitting stitch bible by Hitomi Shida.

The pattern also includes the written instructions for each charts.

Gauge
• 25 sts x 36 rows = 10 cm /4 inches of Stockinette stitch in the round on larger needles, after blocking.
• 25 sts x 36 rows = 10 cm /4 inches of Lace stitch in the round on larger needles, after blocking. (See Appendix p6)

Please note the whole pattern is knitted in circular, it is preferable to realize a your gauge in round.

Needles
For the main part
• 3,5 mm / US 4 DPNs or circular needles with a cable suitable for small circumference knitting for the sleeves.
• 3,5 mm / US 4 circular needles with a cable of 40 cm / 16 inches for the sleeves.
• 3,5 mm / US 4 circular needles with a cable of 80 cm / 32 inches for sizes 1 to 5 or 100 cm / 40 inches for sizes 6 to 9 for the body.

For the ribbing
• 2,75 mm / US 2 DPNs or circular needles with a cable suitable for small circumference knitting for the cuffs.
• 2,75 mm / US 2 circular needles with a cable of 40 cm / 16 inches for the neckband.
• 2,75 mm / US 2 circular needles with a cable of 80 cm / 32 inches for sizes 1 to 5 or 100 cm / 40 inches for sizes 6 to 9 for the hem.

Always use the needle size that gives you the right gauge! Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Framboisine se tricote du haut vers le bas (top-down) sans couture en commençant par l’encolure.

Une dentelle légère s’inspirant de la nature se développe progressivement autour de l’empiècement circulaire. Vous pourrez au choix poursuivre cette dentelle tout au long du travail du corps et des manches ou continuer votre projet en jersey endroit.
Les manches sont reprises et tricotées ensuite en circulaire en jersey endroit ou en poursuivant le motif de dentelle.

Agréable à réaliser rythmé par le point de dentelle, c’est un projet qui s’adaptera facilement à vos envies, avec ou sans manches, il sera parfait pour la mi-saison et l’été.

Le patron comprend les instructions écrites des diagrammes utilisés.

La dentelle s’inspire d’un motif figurant dans le livre d’Hitomi Shida : « The Japanese knitting stitch bible ».

Attention l’ensemble de l’ouvrage est tricoté en circulaire, il est préférable de réaliser un échantillon en rond.

Matériel

• Aiguille circulaire en 2,75 mm pour les finitions des manches et de l’encolure
