A classic v-neck with a few options to change the hem, sleeves, and neckline of the garment (the framework if you will). Knit flat from the top down, then joined in the round after the v-neck shaping is complete. This pattern includes instructions for short or long sleeves as well as options for lateral braid or i-cord edgings. Knit the framework to your liking.

Finished Bust Circumference
The body of the sweater is based off the final bust measurement and has about 4”/10 cm of positive ease. I recommend choosing a finished bust measurement that is about 4”/10 cm larger than your actual bust measurement. For example, I have a 36” (91 cm) bust measurement, and I knit Size 3 for the long sleeve version. I knit size 2 for the short sleeve version in order to have a more fitted look, so this gave me 0” ease.
Finished measurements (including the positive ease) after blocking:
Bust circumference: 32” (36, 40, 44, 48) 52, 56, 60, 64 / {81 (91, 102, 112, 122) 132, 142, 152, 162 cm}
Upper arm circumference: 13.75” (14.25, 15, 16, 17.5) 19.5, 21, 22.5, 23.5 / {35 (36, 38, 40.5, 44.5) 49.5, 53.5, 57, 60 cm}
Armhole depth: 9.5” (10.5, 11, 12, 12.5) 13, 13.5, 14, 14.5 / {24 (27, 28, 30.5, 31.75) 33, 35, 36, 37 cm}
