Frankenmitts, since they’re neither gloves nor mittens but an unholy melange of both!

3-30-2014 I had a look around Ravelry and see there are tons of gorgeous FrankenMitts out there! I didn’t even consider the button & loop added to some of them. I mean duh, it’s obvious you need something to keep the top from flapping around.

I’m considering knitting myself another pair but in some stripy yarn without the colorwork since my fuzzy handspun pair is way too warm for the South. I think I wear them maybe twice a year so they’re not that practical.
