The FrankenScrap Crochet Along will start on the 14th of January 2024

This is a scrap yarn project in its purest form. There is absolutely no colour plan to this blanket, I just pulled all the part balls and odd skeins of dk yarn out of my stash and used them at random to create this unique ugly patchwork blanket.

All the pieces are made with different crochet stitches, then stitched together to create this Frankenstein of a blanket which will cover a double bed.

The Frankenscrap Crochet along starts on the 14th of January and will run for 49 weeks with a new part released each week. The FrankenScrap Crochet Along will finish on the 13th of December .There are a total of 51 separate pieces plus the border.

The pattern is written in US terms, with picture guides and video tutorials on how to make each stitch.

The FrankenScrap Blanket uses a total of 4500 metres (4921 yards) of DK (light worsted) yarn and a 4mm hook.
