Newborn Prop Pattern - Frankenstein Beanie

This beanie is knit in the round. It is intended to be used as a photo prop in newborn photo sessions and to fit most newborn babies weighing between 5 and 8 lbs with a head circumference of 12”-13”. It is not intended for every day use. Never leave baby unattended while wearing or using your finished item.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate. Must be able to knit in the round.

STITCHES USED: Knit, purl, knitting two stitches together

MATERIALS: Medium worsted weight yarn, 5mm/40 cms (US8/16”) circular needle, dpns, tapestry needle, measuring tape, scissors.
