Frankenstein in the Moss Scarf
This is not a pattern per-se but just a scarf made with Moss Stitch. I stitched 36, sc in the 4th chain from hook. Then ch 1, skip a stitch, sc in next stitch. Do that across (moss stitch). Scarf can be made to any size by making sure initial chain is in an even-number multiple.
When you get to the end of the first row, to begin Row 2: ch 2, turn. In the space after the first sc, sc in that space, ch 1, sc in next space across, ch 2 at end of row and turn. Repeat Row 2 until scarf is the length you want it to be.
I made the scarf with Premier Cotton Fair in the color Moss. When the scarf got to the length I wanted it to be I tied on Premier Cotton Fair in the color Black and did the moss stitch around the whole scarf. On each end I did 3 regular moss stitch then dipped down a row and did a dc around the stitch below, ch 1, sc, dipped down even further, sc, etc.
If you are inspired to make your own scarf using this idea, please be kind and give credit for your inspiration back to me; it’s appreciated!
