Trick or Treat yourself to this frightfully fun top-down sock pattern that can be used year round to help you cobble your fingering weight sock yarn into unique scraptastic socks. You’ll love “frankensteining” your leftover yarn into these simply scary (scrappy) socks.

Three different stitch patterns: sutures, scars and bolts are incorporated into the leg to add interest as you change yarns.

Also included are directions for a blending technique that lessens the demarcation lines that generally appear when switching yarns.

Yarn requirements:
MC for heel and toes: 20 grams ~80 yards
CC1 - CC6: 10 grams ~40 yards of each color
~4 yards of white for sutures

Sample was knit using Knitterly Things Vesper sock in semi-solid Chartreuse for heels and toes (MC) and Bumblebee Acres Pumpkin Ghoul Mini Set Coquette sock for CC1 - CC5, Urth Yarns Uneek in colorway Tigress for CC6.
