Frankie is an easy chunky knit hat with sizing for the whole family.

We’ve used Manos del Uruguay Franca, but use your favourite chunky yarn or even several strands of other yarns from your stash held together.

Knitting to gauge the hat knits up very quickly – less than an hour for the newborn and just a couple of hours for the adult. It’s perfect for catching up on movies or tv while knitting and means you can knock a few gifts out in a weekend!

Top your hat off with a fun pom pom or wear it without one. Make a big, small, or in between yarn pom pom or use a faux fur or alpaca fur pom pom…make it your own!
