Frankie adult hoodie
NB more photos to be added soon!
The pattern gives details to make this generously sized hoodie, which is worked in one piece for body and sleeves, with the hood and pocket added. The stripes are created using a zigzag stitch, which is written. Charts are included to support with the raglan and pocket shapings.
This is intended to be an oversized garment - tension gauge information is given which should be used to ensure you achieve the fit you require.
DIFFICULTY: Intermediate
SIZES: Chest 84, 92, 100, 112, 124, 136cm
HOOK: 5.50mm and 5.00mm for cuffs and trims
YARN (Aran weight)
In one solid colour: 50g x 16 (17, 19, 20, 21)
In 8 colours:
50g x 4 (4, 5, 5, 5) of main trim colour
50g x 16 (16, 17, 18, 18) of remaining 7 colours (so 2 of some, 3 of others)
You can use any combination and number of colours you wish, the total given here is first for the whole garment, if crocheted in one solid colour, the second set of quantities is if 8 colours are used, as in the cover photo. It is likely you may only need a small quantity of the 2nd or 3rd balls, so the total number of balls required for a multi-coloured garment is much higher.
Instructions are written not charted (charts are only given to support with raglan and pocket shaping) in UK terminology.
We have also written a child’s version of this pattern. If you purchase both patterns. a discount of £2.50 is applied to the 2nd pattern.
