This postie doll and their accessories was designed to celebrate our wonderful postal and delivery workers who have kept us going

• This amigurumi doll and their accessories are worked in several pieces, a majority of which are worked in the round.

• This project does not require a particular yarn weight - I have used lightweight yarn (4-ply 100% cotton) and a 2.0mm crochet hook to create the doll pictured.

Please refer to your yarn label to find the appropriate hook size for your chosen yarn.

• This pattern involves colour changes.

This pattern includes the following crochet techniques and stitches:

Working in the round, magic ring, chain, double crochet (UK), increase, decrease, invisible decrease (instructions provided), back loops only, front loops only, puff stitch (instructions provided), slip stitch, fasten off and colour changes.

Materials

• Less than 50g of lightweight yarn in:
• Shoe colour (grey)
• Socks colour (white)
• Envelope colour (white)
• Shirt colour (light Blue)
• Skin colour (your choice)
• Shorts / cap colour (dark blue)
• Hair colour (your choice)
• Bag colour (brown)
• 2.00 mm hook (or hook size according to yarn label / weight)
• Toy Stuffing of your choice
• (Suggested) 6 mm Safety Eyes - can be embroidered if preferred
• Black / Grey / white Thread for details
• Stitch Marker(s)
• Large-eyed needle / Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• (OPTIONAL) Cosmetic Blush for decoration
• (OPTIONAL) Wire or pipe cleaners for arms / legs
