Frankie's Furiously Fast Footwear
We designed these socks for our toddlers and they really are the fastest socks they have ever had on their feet. I’m not kidding, these socks made Franklin so fast I couldn’t even get a good photo of them on his feet. They really are that fast.
If you don’t believe me just try it. Knit a pair, slip them on the feet of a toddler and see if they don’t just take right off!
These socks are knit two at a time, toe up and with magic loop, but you can just as easily knit them one at a time on DPNs if you choose. I knit them to be mid calf on Franklin, but you can knit them short or long, it’s easy to adjust the pattern to suit. The ribbing is snug and stretchy so these socks will grow with your little ones. The heel design is the easiest heel that I’ve knit, it is increases and then decreases, you are saved from w&t and all of the holes that come with them. I hope you love these socks as much as we do.
This is not a tutorial on TAAT or Magic Loop. There are a ton of tutorials out there to learn, I did’t think it was necessary to add instructions to do it. This was my first project knitting with the magic loop and also for doing TAAT socks. I will never knit socks any other way again.
