Repeats and is easy to make into a larger size if you wish and is a great scrap buster pattern to use your left over yarn from other projects!
The gauge for the finished size was using worsted #4 weight yarn.
If you would like it smaller, use DK/Baby yarn #3 weight - Lion Brand Mandala or any baby yarn works really well.
OR …. make it nice and squishy warm by using bulky #5 yarn!

Yarn Amounts:
Color A - Main Color- 1255 yards
Color B - Background color - 919 yards
You may choose to use a variegated yarn with a solid contrasting color. Self striping and ombre yarns paired with a solid contrasting color are also perfect to use with mosaic patterns. It’s a great pattern to use your scraps as well.
The back of mosaic patterns will be striped giving you a reversible design.
Stitches Used - US Terms:
Ch - Chain
SC - Single Crochet
BLSC - Back Loop Single Crochet
FLDC - Front Loop Double Crochet 2 Rows Down
Skill Level:
Confident beginner - As long as you know the basics of crocheting (stitches listed above), you will be able to do this project. Mosaic crochet looks a lot more complex than it really is. I have had several people that were brand new to mosaic crochet try my patterns and each one was able to follow the instructions and were successful in their projects.
Remember ~ This pattern is worked all in one piece from the bottom up. There are no squares to sew together.
