If you feel adventurous and would like an easy introduction to slipped stitches, Frannie’s Shawlette is your answer! This Shawlette is a different take on the shape I used in Millie’s Shawlette. These small shawls are named after my lovely Shetland Sheepdogs, Mildred and Frances.

I love a simple slip stitch mosaic pattern that you can just knit from memory once you get going! This shawl is great for using that silk/mohair or sil/suri skein you have been dying to knit up but didn’t know what to do with. This little shawl makes a great complementary piece to any garment and easily wraps around your neck without a lot of excess; just enough to take out the chill.

Typically what ever you have for yardage in the Main Color, you will need approximately half the amount for the Contrasting Color.
Just make sure that they are very contrasting to get the most out of the design!
