Freckle Soaker and Skirty
Errata:
After inserting eyelet row for the drawstring at the waste, the next row should state, “continue in K2, P1 ribbing” instead of “K3, p1 ribbing”
2/27/2013 Still working on updates for V2.0 that will be released soon incorporating the errata and adding a couple of additional skirt options. Anyone who owns the old version will be eligible to receive the updated version by emailing to request it.
In the meantime, For sizes NB and small…. to alleviate too big of leg holes, please adjust your stitches in Section 4, Repeat Rows 4 & 5 to decreasing the crotch gusset down to only 16.
Also, Until I re-release the pattern, the notes on how to use the edging found on the GrannySmith version of the skirty can be found here. Thanks so much!
I am proud to introduce the Freckle Soaker and Skirty Pattern. Designed by me (Heather from Freckle) and written by myself and Lea of Woobies Wool.
This pattern features a seamless soaker for girls and boys alike. It takes the best of both worlds from side and front loading soakers and rolls them up with short rows on the bum to accomodate fluffy bums without adding bulk to the front of the soaker. The best part is that the soaker is knit without any grafting or seaming!
Another great feature is that the pattern comes with sized/explicit instructions for canned sizes NB-Large (2Tish) at a gauge of 5spi, as well as fully customizable instructions for any size and/or yarn weight.
Along with the soaker pattern, will come instructions for attaching a Freckle Skirty!
The pattern would be considered Intermediate and works at a gauge of 4”=20 stitches for the explicit instructions, or any gauge from 4”=16 stitches up to 4”=24 stitches. Full pattern support will be provided through email or help forums, so don’t be intimidated by the Intermediate label.
Pattern will be emailed to you in .pdf format within 48 hours of purchase. Other formats, such as Word Document or Rich Text are available upon request.
Included in the purchase price of the pattern is cottage licensing to sell up to 20 items reproduced from the pattern. Beyond 20 items, further licensing will be available for a small fee. Please email if you have any questions and watch for further licensing packages to go up for sale in the future.
