SIZE
This knitting pattern gives instructions for one size of fox backpack or bag. It is knitted in a bulky / chunky felting yarn (we recommend DROPS Eskimo and have tested this yarn extensively in this pattern to allow for the correct amount of shrinkage) on size 11 (8mm) needles. The bag measures approximately 9.5 inches (23.5cm) high by 8.5 inches (22cm) wide.

MATERIALS
Knitting the fox bag takes approx. 4 x 1.8oz (50g) balls of bulky / chunky felting yarn in orange (220 yards / 200m), plus 0.7oz (20g) of white (22 yards / 20m) and 0.2oz (5g) black (5.5 yards / 5m) for the chest and features. You will also need size 11 (8mm) needles and a magnetic clasp. You may also want to choose some fabric to line your bag.
