Freddie the Pheasant
Freddie the Pheasant is a very wayward young Pheasant. His father, the Earl of Pheshire is threatening to cut Freddie out of his inheritance if he doesn’t stop hanging out with the local hens and zipping round on his motorbike. Unsurprisingly, Freddie doesn’t care one bit!
The pattern is 6 pages long and contains lots of pictures to help you along the way.
Techniques - knit, purl, increasing and decreasing, casting on and off, short rows (a tiny little bit!), basic sewing skills, knit in the round (optional)
Materials required - 3mm knitting needles, DK/sportweight yarn, 12mm safety eyes, toy stuffing, blunt ended sewing needle, pipecleaners/chenille stems
Remember - you can knit my patterns in any weight of yarn, just reduce the needle size by 2-3 sizes than that recommended.
Your finished Freddie knitted in DK/sportweight yarn will be approx 19cm/7.5in high.
