This hat with ear flaps is for sizes between 43 and 53 cm. I have tested them on children between 4 months and 8 years.
The broken rib stitch has a sporty look and is very stretchy so it adjusts well and is rather forgiving when it comes to chosing the right size (and fits for longer).
The ear flaps are knitted with a slip stitch selvedge edge for a neater finish. If you are new to this technique, don’t worry, it is all explained in the pattern.
