This pattern is available as a free Ravelry download

This free pattern is inspired by a photograph taken by Sandy Home of an Australian wheat paddock after harvest. The suggested colors are a variegated gold with black hi-lights, however it would make a great abstract design in any color.

Please note that the ravelry admin have removed the inspiration photo from this listing but if you download the free pdf, you can see it there.

It can be done in the overlay mosaic technique, or any other graph-type of crochet style.

You can use any yarn & hook size you like, and the square is 51 stitches wide by 45 rows high. Using a medium worsted weight yarn and a 5.5 mm hook will create approximately a 13.5 x 13 inch square.

The PDF download only includes chart as this design was requested in a facebook group, so this was my interpretation, but I didn’t want to charge anything since it wasn’t my idea. Figured I’d include the chart here on Ravelry in case anyone else out there wants to give this chart a try. I’d love to see some finished pics!!

For chart square colors (legend), I’ve added an image to the images on this page.
