Free Spirit Beret
Gauge: 20 sts in 4in / 10 cm in stockinette stitch
This easy, beginner friendly knitting pattern comes in sizes from newborn to adult l/xl. It is designed for Worsted weight yarn.
There are two ways to knit it – it can be knit either in the round or knit flat and then seamed in the back.
You will need: Worsted yarn (up to 50 grams for the smallest size, up to 180 grams for the largest size), knitting needles to obtain the gauge (this pattern’s gauge is 20 stitches in 4 inches / 10 centimeters in stockinette stitch) and knitting needles that are one size smaller than the gauge needles, one stitch marker, a darning needle.
