Very slouchy cross between a beret and a tam to give you a Tamberet.
Knitted in two pieces with braiding across the top for added texture and depth over a lacy background.
3/4 inch gauge loom 14 to 20 pegs (depending on how baggy you want this) to shape the top piece
(green round 36 peg knifty knitter or any 3/4 inch gauge CinDwood Crafts Looms are perfect) for this project.
high mohair content multi-threaded Homespun yarn in an aran or chunky weight
OR
any chunky weight boucle will work well
loom hook
tapestry needle
1/2 inch in gauge loom with at least 58 pegs for brim (optional)
short row shaping
mock crochet or Z stitch
knit stitch
purl stitch
crochet cast on
flat panel bind off
your favourite seaming technique
icord and braiding
