Finding yourself with some free time? I’ve got just the project for you: a poppingly-fun pair of two-color socks, perfect for all of those free moments that make up a full life.
Yarn
approximately 200-350 yards total fingering-weight yarn. I used Knitted Wit Victory Sock in Haute Pink (cA) and Naiad (cB) and Oregon Sky (cA) and Lagoon (cB) for the socks pictured.
For my size Medium, 10” long foot low-ankle socks, I used about 125 yds of cA and 135 yds of cB. It can be difficult to estimate exact yardages for this pattern, because for folks making a different iteration of the pattern, your yardage needs will be different - for instance, if you use cA for the heel instead of cB, you’ll need more of that, and if you work the top ribbing instead of the low ankle version, you’ll need more of cA, too. BUT, this should give you an idea. Simplified, you’ll need approximately the same in cA as in cB, unless you change things up with heel or cuff.
Finished measurements
Adult extra-small (small, medium, large, extra-large): to fit 7 (7.5, 8, 8.5, 9)“/17.75 (19, 20.25, 21.5, 22.75) cm foot circumference.
Finished sock foot circumference: 5.75 (6.25, 6.75, 7, 7.5)” / 14.5 (16, 17.25, 17.75, 19) cm.
Socks shown in two lengths, both low ankle and high ankle, but are very customizable.
