Although I’ve created lots of my own “scrumbles” and a number of other patterns this is my first attempt at explaining scrumble creation to someone else. It seemed smart to just put this out for free. Perhaps I’ll get a few good suggestions.

This is a tutorial for a freeform motif (scrumble) that measures 8” X 10”. It covers some basic freeform concepts as well as the following stitches:

Knurl/Crab/Reverse sc
Bullion
Modified spike
Royal Ridge
Sideways Cluster
Pineapple

Please note that written explanations are provided for the stitches but not pictures or videos. The tutorial is focused more on teaching freeform rather than individual crochet stitches.
