There is no set pattern for this scarf as it is freeform. I added beads and buttons, ruffles and flowers, rings and spirals, bullions, fringe etc with a variety of different yarns in a specific color palette. My method of freeform crocheting always begins with the color palette. I collect palettes from fabric, magazines, scrapbook paper, and home decorating books and magazines. For this scarf I just kept building on it until it was long enough for a scarf. Instead of crocheting my embellishments on as I went, I waited til the end so that I could place them all just where they looked right. I then sewed then on along with buttons and beads and then added the fringe with covered rings.
