FREISA is the name of an Italian wine grape variety and I chose this beautiful name for my new sweater because the pattern on the round yoke reminds me of grapes. It is a seamless top-down sweater with an interesting lace pattern on the round yoke while the rest is made in reverse stockinette (knitted on the wrong side).

The range of ease across all the sizes is 4 – 6 cm/1.5 – 2.5”.

The picture shows size 4 with 5.5 cm/2.25” of positive ease.

PATTERN NOTES:
• I recommend swatching for the lace pattern and if you notice that it is looser than the stockinette stitch, please use smaller needles for working the lace section of your sweater.
• The sweater is worked in one piece top down. You start with neck band/ribbing, then work neck shaping with short rows and then continue working in the round. After the round yoke, you separate the sleeves and the body and continue working them separately. For reverse stockinette, you knit on the wrong side.

ФРЕЙЗА – это сорт итальянского красного винограда, и так я решила назвать свой новый дизайн, потому что узор на круглой кокетке напоминает мне виноградную лозу. Это бесшовный пуловер, который вяжется сверху вниз, с интересным узором на кокетке, в то время как основное полотно выполнено изнаночной гладью (вяжется лицевой гладью по кругу с изнаночной стороны).
