This is a lightweight, textured hat that can be knit as a beanie or slouchy hat. Any sock yarn will be fine with this hat, solid colors, light or dark, tonal, and painted yarns will be great!

A beanie will use ~250 yards, while a slouchy hat will use ~400 yards. The Fremont Sleeves are a complementary pattern to this hat.
