This pattern is a great introduction to moasic knitting. If you’re comfortable with knitting in the round and you know how to knit, purl and slip stitch then you’re ready to tackle mosaic knitting!

The knitting notes teach you how to do mosaic knitting and now to read mosaic knitting charts. Several of my testers had never done mosaic knitting and were so delighted with the results. My favorite feedback, “Mosaic was fun! At first I thought you were crazy and I didn’t believe it was going to work!” Spoiler alert - it worked and the hat looks great!

You’ll want to have about 100y of each color you’re planning on using. My gauge is generally looser than most, so make sure you check your gauge before starting.
