These mitts feature cozy twisted ribbing on the cuffs and around the fingers, with a lovely shrinking cable adorning the back of the hand. Hidden decreases create a cable that mimics the structure of a French braid, in which hair strands are incorporated bit by bit.

With six sizes from Toddler to Adult L, you can make parent-child or sibling matching sets! (Note: unfortunately I was unable to find testers for the Toddler size. If you make that size and fill out my tester questionnaire, I’ll happily refund you the cost of the pattern!)

Both written and charted instructions are given for the cable panels.

Level: Intermediate. This pattern uses several basic cables, working in the round, decreases, and twisted ribbing.

Sizing: Sizes Toddler (Child S, Child L, Adult S, Adult M, Adult L) to fit hand circumference 16-17 (18-19, 20, 21-22, 22.5-23.5, 24-25)“/41-43 (46-48, 51, 53-56, 57-60, 61-64) cm.

Yardage: 45 (58, 76, 92, 111, 125) yd for sizes Toddler (Child S, Child L, Adult S, Adult M, Adult L).
