French Connection Beret is a fun and quick knit. And as a result you will have a beautiful accessory, that will become a great addition to your outfit.

The pattern was test knitted.

I made 2 samples in 2 different yarns. I will list the gauge for both options below.

Sizes: S (19-19.75’’ (48-50 cm)), M (20.5-21.25’’ (52-54 cm)), L (22-22.75’’ (56-58 cm))
In the pattern sizes are given as S (M, L).
Yarn:
Option 1: Adriafil Angora Carezza (70% angora, 10% lana, 20% polyamide, 90 yds/0.88 oz (83 m/25g)), 1 (2, 2) ball(s).
Option 2: Cardiffe Cashmere Classic (100% cashmere, 123 yds/0.88 oz (112 m/25 g)), 1 (2, 2) ball(s).

Gauge:
Adriafil Angora Carezza (1) – 21 sts х 28 rounds = 4 x 4’’ (10 х 10 cm) in Stockinette stitch with the main needles 1.
Cardiffe Cashmere Classic (2) – 23 sts х 34 rounds = 4 x 4’’ (10 х 10 cm) in Stockinette stitch with the main needles 2.

Needles:
For Adriafil Angora Carezza (1)
• A pair of 16-inch (40 cm) US 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles - main needles;
• A set of US 7 (4.5 mm) double pointed needles for the crown - main needles;
• A set of US 5 (3.75 mm) double pointed needles for the brim and finishing the crown - smaller needles.

For Cardiff Cashmere Classic (2)
• A pair of 16-inch (40 cm) US 5 (3.75 mm) circular needles - main needles;
• A set of US 5 (3.75 mm) double pointed needles for the crown - main needles;
• A set of US 2 (3.00 mm) double pointed needles for the brim and finishing the crown - smaller needles.

Construction:
The beret is worked in the round in one piece.
